The diagonal composition creates a sense of movement encapsulating the spirit of Holi characterized by three diagonal segments descending from the top right corner down to the left corner, their sizes diminishing as they flow into one another. In this lively composition, the artist skilfully utilizes water in the acrylic colours, resulting in a free flow of vibrant hues that contribute to the visual vibrancy of the piece. Beginning from the right top corner, the first segment features a base layer of lively pink, intricately blended with diffusions of bright shades of red, creating a dynamic and energetic foundation. This pink layer seamlessly merges with the second segment, which has a base of cheerful yellow. The intermingling of these layers produces a captivating rust-red hue at the blending points. A significant swathe of orange, a harmonious blend of pink and yellow, flows from the mid-left corner within the yellow segment, gracefully slimming down in size as it descends. The bottommost layer takes on a deep blue shade, harmoniously intermixing with the yellow layer to create a striking dark green. Varying shades of blue further enhance this segment, adding depth and complexity to the overall composition.
